A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah

My name is Raheema I have been muslim now 6 years Alhamdu'Lillah and I Live in south east London. I currently work and pay my own bills with ALLAH Swt Permission. I am also in the process of setting up my 1st business. I currently work in the hospitality sector as a chef, I work at various prestige venues. Being a chef there are a lot of work opportunities abroad in various countries which may help with Hijrah in the future In Sha ALLAH Ta'ala.


I originate from Ivory Coast and Nigeria and I am Fluent in French nut I am 3rd generation British.

I am a very active person I always need to be doing something I like to keep myself busy. I have an adventurous mind Alhamdu'Lillah. I like uniqueness and people that have their own character and Dont allow them self to be sculpted by others. I have a business mind set and its not just work related its just a certain mentality that I posses Alhamdu'Lillah.

Islamically I try to be balanced and to not blindly follow. I try my best to follow the way of the Salaf; Qur'an and Sunnah , but I do not call myself a Salafi. I have memorized a small portion of the Qur'an and I pray to marry somebody that will push me to learn more In Sha ALLAH. I pray my 5 daily prayers everyday even when at work and some sunnah. I occasionally attend the Masjid. I dont shake hands with the opposite and all my work colleagues are aware that there is no physical contact and are updated on the religious necessities that I require in the work place.

I would like to eventually make Hijrah one day In Sha ALLAH.

What I Am Looking For

Ideally I would like a brother that is Tall , Bearded and with a strong personality like me . Somebody that is Active both in Deen and Dunya. Somebody that is just and balanced. We obviously have to be compatible in ideas and thinking. Prefrence to those born in the Uk.

I would like my husband to be earning more or equal to me In Sha ALLAH and this is a must as I do not feel comfortable earning more as I dont want to be wearing the trousers in the relationship. I would also need my husband to be driving for the same reasons.

My Husband has to be very confident as I find non-confidence really unattractive. I would like for him to posses strong leadership skills and have a balanced authoritativeness about him. I would love somebody that I can have mind stimulating debates and discussions with In Sha ALLAH.

He would have to be clean and have good personal hygiene. Active physically and mentally . Physical attractiveness is very important just as much as Deen. (Ive always been more inclined to Arabs/North Africans but still open to others)

I would like for my husband to have more Islamic knowledge than me so that I may learn form him. It would be a must for him to be active in the Islamic Community. Must Pray 5 times a day and complete Islamic obligations. I would need to get on with the spouses family as I feel this is an important part of marrying somebody. we must share the same thinking Islamicly.. its not always about sharing the same views (on the things that are not clear cut of course) but its about sharing the same understanding.
